Practice Areas

Our team of attorneys strive to help individual Plaintiffs fight against larger corporations.   We pride ourselves on being capable of finding justice where other law firms may not see a case.  We handle each case with a very "hands-on" approach.  This approach allows our clients to feel very involved in the process, an important part of the search for justice.

Whether we are negotiating a severance package,  fighting for overtime payments, advocating for someone who has been discriminated against, or making sure consumers are not being cheated out of their hard earned dollar, each case is treated as special and each client is treated like your case is the most valuable case we have.

Overtime Law

The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) establishes minimum wage, overtime pay, record-keeping, and child labor standards affecting more than 80 million full-time and part-time workers in the private sector and in Federal, State, and local governments.

The FLSA ensures wages are paid for hours worked over 40 hours a week, for non exempt workers.  Many companies will outright refuse to pay overtime, or will classify employees as salaried in an effort to avoid the overtime laws.  If you feel you are entitled to overtime pay and are not receiving it, please contact our office and one of our attorneys will review your case and determine whether or not you are entitled to overtime pay.

Disability

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in employment, State and local government, public accommodations, commercial facilities, transportation, and telecommunications.  Not only does the ADA protect individuals with disabilities, but also protects those that have a relationship or association with an individual with a disability.

If you suffer from a disability or have a loved one with a disability and need accommodations, our attorneys can help you alert your employer and request accommodations.  If you have already requested accommodations and have been terminated because of it, you may have an action against your employer, we can review your case and help you evaluate your options.

Consumer Protection

Consumers have the right to a fair market place.  When they are deprived of this right, our attorneys fight for the consumer.  Whether it is a car dealership that does not fulfill its promises or makes faulty repairs, or a company that refuses to honor a warranty, we will fight for the consumer and hold companies to their word. If you believe you have been a victim of fraud, misrepresentation, or a simple breach of contract, please contact our office and we will review your case and evaluate your possible options.
